FAQ

Questions about Task 1 charts.

What should an Academic Task 1 report include?

An introduction that says what the chart shows in your own words, an overview of the main trends with no numbers, and two body paragraphs with the key figures. Do not give your opinion.

Are these charts from real IELTS exams?

No. We wrote the questions and made up the figures in the style of the real test, so no chart here is taken from an exam.

Where are the maps and process diagrams?

In the app. Every chart type the exam uses, maps and process diagrams included, is on every account.
