Every essay reaches you already scored, with a band for each of the four IELTS criteria and every correction marked. That saves you the first read. It does not replace yours.
When you disagree, change the band. You set each of the four criteria, and the overall is worked out from them. Your grade then replaces ours everywhere it appears: on the dashboard your student sees, in their history, and in your class numbers. Our old band stays, crossed out, so your student can see what changed.
Where you change a criterion, our explanation for it is taken away, so your student never reads a reason for a band you did not give.
See the whole class, not just one essay.
Follow your class average week by week, open one student to see how their bands have moved, or pick one topic and see how every student did on it. The topics with the lowest bands come first, so you know what to set again.
When a task is done, you can share the result with the class: how many students landed on each band, with no names. Students see only the numbers.

Nothing is shared until a student agrees. Before they join, they read a short screen that lists exactly what you will be able to see.

Will VoyaLang replace me as a teacher?
No. VoyaLang is a helper for your class, not a replacement for you. It marks each essay first: it corrects the writing and suggests a band for each of the four IELTS criteria. You check it, give the final grade, and decide what each student needs next.
How long does it take to check an essay?
